Terms of use
The short version: whenfor.us is free and made for planning with friends, family and groups. Be decent, don't post anything you wouldn't want the whole group to see, and don't misuse it.
1. Who we are
whenfor.us is run by the company named in the legal notice. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. The service
- whenfor.us is free. There are no accounts, no paid plans and no ads.
- We offer it as it is. We may change, add or remove features, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- Every event, with all its answers, is deleted automatically 90 days after its last day. The organizer can delete it sooner, and anyone can remove their own answer. Keep your own record of anything you need later.
3. What you post
- Everything on an event (its name, the organizer's note, people's names and their times) is visible to everyone who has the link. Share the link only with people who should see it.
- Don't post sensitive information: no health details, ID or account numbers, passwords, or other people's private data.
- You're responsible for what you post. You allow us to store it and show it to the people with the link, which is what it takes to run the service. We don't use it for anything else.
4. What isn't allowed
- Anything illegal, including content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, or sexual content involving minors.
- Pretending to be someone else, or using someone else's name to mislead the group.
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware or misleading links in notes.
- Creating events or answers automatically or in bulk, scraping the site, or trying to get around its limits or security.
5. Reports and removal
- Anyone can report an event with "Report this event" at the bottom of the event page, or by email (see the legal notice). Tell us what's wrong and include the link.
- We review reports and may remove an event, an answer, a note or a link, or block a connection from creating events, when content breaks the law or these terms. Names, event names and notes also pass an automatic word filter before they're saved.
- Since there are no accounts, we usually can't notify the person who posted something. If you think we removed something by mistake, write to us and we'll look at it again.
6. Links to other sites
Organizers can add links to their note. Those sites aren't ours and we're not responsible for them. Before you leave whenfor.us through such a link, we show you where it goes.
7. Liability
We provide whenfor.us carefully, but without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed or mistaken plans, lost data, or for content posted by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, for example for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. If you use whenfor.us as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Last updated: October 29, 2026.
